One (U2charist Band) have come together for this inaugural U2charist in 2007. A willingness to combine their musical talents and experiences with their faith has created this unique opportunity to share the traditions of Eucharist in a musical and creative environment.
Using their talents to help raise awareness and funds for those who are less fortunate in our World is also a driving force behind One. If you wish to help support the charities nominated by One there will be an opportunity to make donations on the day.
Chris Mundy – Lead Vocals
With a music heritage handed down from his guitar teaching father it seemed inevitable that Chris would find his way into the Music Industry. Having achieved significant success, winning competitions, releasing albums, touring and fame, Chris realised that he was able to achieve so much more by keeping his music focused and local. Chris’s employment as Chaplain of Albany Creek State High School and a 2 year break from the Music Industry have reinforced to Chris that the real power of music belongs not at the international level but at the local and community level.
Phill Dagnall – Lead Guitar
With over 20 years guitar experience the music industry nearly lost this talented player to a life of AFL. A serious injury meant Phill was able to concentrate on his love of music – with a focus on the inspirational lyrics and rhythms of U2. Since 2001 Phill has been playing with ZOO2 – Brisbane’s premier U2 tribute Band. U2’s music has always touched Phill on a spiritual level. Phill has recently re-opened his heart to a more fulfilling way of accepting God into his life and the lyrics of U2 have taken even greater meaning and connection with this talented guitarist.

John Roundhill – Rector
What happens when a Rector works and volunteers in places such as England, Scotland, Honk Kong and Belize? They come back as the Rector at Aspley-Albany Creek church and suggest such crazy things as a U2charist …………John has gained some wonderful insights and experiences while travelling and working around the world. Being able to share these experiences with the congregation and community of Aspley-Albany Creek Church is one of the reasons that makes John position as Rector so enjoyable. John also enjoys seeing the community enjoy and celebrate their faith and spirituality while helping to support those less fortunate in our World.
