Safeguarding

At the Church of the Resurrection, it is important that everyone feels safe.

The Church of the Resurrection has implemented a Child Protection and Vulnerable Persons’ Risk Management Plan to assist in protecting our children and other vulnerable people from harm in our church. This includes the screening of clergy, staff, volunteers, and office holders in our parish by using the Queensland Government’s Blue Card Services. A Code of Conduct and safe ministry check is provided for all people working with children.

Complaints

If you have a complaint or concern about the operations of the parish,

please contact Fr Nicholas Whereat, Rector or Eliza Hooper, Office Administrator on telephone 3263 3518 or email office@aspley-albanycreek.org.au

If you have a complaint about the conduct of a parish worker or volunteer, you are encouraged to report this concern immediately to Fr Nicholas Whereat.

If your concern relates to the conduct of the Rector or another ordained minister, your concern should be reported to the Anglican Church Southern Queensland’s Office of Professional Standards on telephone 1800 242 544.
